Sweet Pisces, the
ancient Chinese had your number - wise observers of
the principles of nature, they knew that water, your
element, is the strongest stuff. It is the source of
life and the ultimate giver of form, even in its formlessness.
"Too vague," that's what they said about Pisces Albert
Einstein's Relativity theory. But hey, here we are in
the Nuclear Age. Some think of you as weak because, like water, you
take the path or least resistance. But by flowing on,
resisting nothing, you overcome all and your freedom
from self (your greatest secret strength) provides you
with limitless access to imagination (your second greatest
secret strength). Your power is that of the reformer Ralph Nader, the
creator Auguste Renoir and the visionary Galileo. Poets,
dancers and artists abound in the sign of Pisces. Giving
form to inspiration is one of your rare and exclusive
strengths - you give form to avenues of ideas for the
rest of us. Your music becomes famous because it says
aloud those thoughts and feelings that haunt the rest
of us. A weak Piscean is simply one who has not yet accepted
his true nature, that which uses the strength of pure
being. You flounder (like a fish out of water, if you
will) when you are expected to live by a "What’s in
it for me" philosophy. Ambition and a strong sense
of personal achievement are unnatural to you. That's
why you become confused and lose your way in practical
matters and details when you try to force yourself to
be like others. If you were following your true nature, being a health
professional, for example, you can follow procedures
to the tiniest detail, very accurately, and all the
while help the patient heal with your very special soothing
touch and aura. If your adversary is a Pisces, this isn't going to
be as easy as it looks. You may think you are justified
in going up against Pisces - perhaps you have discovered
them in a misrepresentation of the objective truth (a
lie, in other words). Perhaps you have found they are
lax about certain routine chores that are their official
responsibility ("laying down on the job," it's called).
Don't be too quick to judge Pisces. Appearances are
truly deceiving with this deep and sensitive sign. When opposed, Pisces becomes depressed. They may fight
back with stony silence. Pushed further, they may erupt
in a stormy scene that exposes facts that make you ashamed
to have challenged their integrity in the first place
(we told you not to be too quick to accuse them). If
you have the facts on your side, they will try to rationalize.
They may try to win your sympathy or that of others,
or they may disappear for a couple of weeks. One way
or another, you’re bound to wind up feeling guilty for
having wronged Pisces, even if they were wrong to begin
with. A love rivalry with Pisces is another matter. It all
depends upon the nature of the person in whom you have
a mutual interest. If this person is another water sign,
(Cancer or Scorpio), withdraw from the situation at
once. Pisces will use your rivalry to create sympathy
for themselves that bonds the two of them together against
you permanently (just when you think you’ve been unfair
to Pisces, they show how manipulative they really can
be). If your mutual love interest is an earth sign (Taurus,
Virgo and Capricorn), keep on proving your true love.
Hang in there with dependability and responsible action
- sooner or later Pisces may dissolve into an insecure
puddle that the earth sign finds too insubstantial,
and you win by default. If your mutual love interest
is an air sign (Gemini, Libra or Aquarius), they'll
seldom stay long with Pisces. Too much emotionalism.
Fire signs (Aries, Leo or Sag) will feel that Pisces
is a bit of a wet blanket, and that's when you get your
chance.
