Joshua Anderson has been playing chess for twenty-five years and collecting chess books for nearly as long. After five years of graduate work in political history and sports history, he returned to Pennsylvania to help care for his grandmother, sell things on eBay, and work on several research projects, mostly concerning chess history and the history of American football. He currently lives in Blue Bell, PA with his wife Brandy and their owners, two house cats named Elvis and Victoria.
