THE TYPESETTER: After more than five
years’
effort, BENKO’S LIFE, GAMES, and COMPOSITIONS
(by Benko and Silman – published by Siles
Press) is finally being typeset. This biography
features details of Benko’s life that both
embrace and transcend chess, 138 deeply annotated
games, interviews, dozens of photos, an opening
survey by John Watson, and 300 compositions.
It will be available by early February, 2004.
Due to the book's size (668 pages), all copies
will be hardcover. Price: $45.00
