Susie Andrianov was born in Seoul, South Korea of a Korean mother and Puerto Rican father in the USAF. Being a military brat, she traveled endlessly, eventually ending up in Arizona. It was there that she later got "lucky" and met her husband, International Chess Master Nikolay Andrianov, while rediscovering her interest in chess. Also through chess, she met International Master Jeremy Silman who, realizing that she possessed that rare "puzzle-genius-gene," convinced her to donate puzzles to this site and eventually write a book on the subject. The book WILL be written, but in the meantime you, the reader, get to enjoy the fruit of this talented young woman's fertile imagination.
